the week in review...

what a week its been for myself and champ + rosie. I am only about 6 canvas' away from finishing my perth upmarket haul hooray and just a few button badges and well lots of magnets to go! this year i have decided to reason with myself and say 'now, as much as you want to hand make everything yourself...you just don't have the time...remember that full time job you have...' so this year i have decided to out source a couple of new items including tote bags which were mentioned in my last post along with some very, very cute canvas bookmarks! all of which should be here late next week, so hopefully i can do a mini post when they arrive (after i tag the bags and eyelet + ribbon the bookmarks, I've got to put some hands on effort in).

Also, this year I will be restocking my etsy store the night before upmarket so if you miss out at upmarket you can still purchase online (its a tad more online) i was a little slack in doing this last year, so i if do it the night before its already done and i wont have to feel bad! but i do hope to see all of you at upmarket, it will be a great day :)

and finally here is a pic of my 3 yellow birds - birdcages canvas print, one of my favs for this week...

introducing...bot.

well, things have been very busy not a lot of champ + rosie-ing happening at the moment, between work and home life...but it will all be back in full swing very soon! i thought i would start to introduce some my characters from my canvas art starting with bot, the robot! he made his debut at perth upmarket December 08 (like me!) and he was a great success! he will be back again at march upmarket, and maybe growing in size and taking to some other forms of canvas...there were some requests last time for larger canvas art, i am hoping to bring along a few although i do love the teeny and intimateness (is that a word?) of the current size. stay tuned.
**bot is not on etsy yet, but hopefully he will make an appearance soon!!!

back into the swing....sort of?

well, the holidays are well and truly over! and its time to return to the real world... i have thought about making a few new items over the break and hopefully in the coming weeks i will get cracking on them. I really need to update my etsy site with the whole range....a little slack on my behalf.
I have already started planning for perth upmarket (8th March don't forget it!) and yes I am already excited! I definitely need to make more bitsnpieces this time, i guess its hard to judge qtys for your first time. Also, i really need to look how better to display my stuff...everyone seemed to have fab looking equipment, i need to find some!
By the way some possibly excited news if you live in St Kilda....stay tuned
